New Video of the week: Basket Case, live at Woodstock '94. Mud is slowing filling the stage... but doesn't seem to disturb the band!

New Video of the week: Welcome to Paradise, live at Woodstock '94. This video is rare and very good quality, enjoy! This is the biggest concert Green Day ever played, and their most famous in my opinion. There were an estimated 150,000 people, and the show ended in a giant mud fight! Here is the first song of the show, so no mud on stage yet...

Also, our offline videos archive is now gone... because all videos are back online! Check out the Videos section, there are now 164 available for download.

New Video of the week: Basket Case, live in 2004 on UK television. "Do you have the time, to listen to me whine, about nothing and everything all at once?" Who doesn't know this song? Basket Case is probably Green Day's most played one. Here, Billie Joe has a little problem with his mic and sings on Mike's for a while.

New Video of the week: Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, live in 2004 on UK television. Did you know this song has the same guitar chords from as Oasis' Wonderwall? However, they are in different keys. And do you know why Tré wears a headset for the first part of the song? There is click track to slow down to the slower tempo.

New Video of the week: American Idiot, live in 2004 on UK television. The American Idiot CD was just released a few weeks ago, and topping the charts worldwide. Here's an uncensored performance of the title track American Idiot on a UK TV show. Jason White is playing second guitar.

The Video of the week is now available in an additional format: high quality MPEG2.

We also updated our Bullet In A Bible page with an interview of the band at the red carpet event.

New Video of the week: Road to Acceptance, from Green Day's first CD 1,039/smoothed Out Slappy Hours, live in 1995 in Oakland. The file is a bit longer today... Billie Joe does all these stupid things on stage after the song. Like making fun of Offspring: "You gotta keep'em separated. Oh, wait a minute, wait a minute. (...) Should it do it? Should I talk a lot of shit right now?"
July 4
New Video of the week: Geek Stink Breath live in 1995 in Oakland. Green Day premiered many new songs at this concert, five months before they were released on the album Insomniac. Like this one, that Billie Joe introduces: "Ah, f***in' nice guys finish last. (...) This song is about a speed freak, like myself! This song is called Geek Stink Breath."

New Video of the week: Armatage Shanks live in 1995 in Oakland. This concert is special for several reasons. It's a benefit concert, Green Day is playing in their home town, and they joke a lot between songs. Billie Joe: "Oh, by the way, tonight is the first night that Tré is playing with a wedding ring on. (...) And Mike is playing with a cock ring on. Oh, sorry, that's San Francisco, sorry."
June 20
New Video of the week: One of My Lies live in 1994 in Los Angeles. Watch Billie Joe's special thanks to the crowd after the song: "Gracias... Thank you very much... Danke schön... F**k you! Everybody "F**k you" on a count of three. One, two, three..."
June 13
New Video of the week: Welcome to Paradise live in 1994 in Los Angeles. More swear words! Do you remember how - at every show of the Dookie Tour - Billie Joe welcomed the audience after entering the stage? With a big "What's up you stupid motherfuckeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers?"

You can now receive the Video of the week as a Video Podcast (RSS feed)!

After eight months on a temporary webserver, we're finally back with the full site!

Updated the video of the week: Coming Clean live in 1994 in Los Angeles. You can hear lots of swear words by Billie Joe, some I can't even copy here... He goes like: "I'm not gonna say anything meaningful, I'll just cuss a lot. Nothing takes anymore meaning anymore, does it?" Nice to watch early Green Day concerts again, twelve years later!

We are now making videos ready for iPod video playback. Well, I have no iPod to test this. Can somebody who has one let me know if it really works?
